Practice Manager
Deb Bahr, CVT, CVPM
Deb is a 1991 graduate of the University of Minnesota, Waseca with an Associate in Applied Science degree in Veterinary Technology. Deb was with Heritage Pet Hospital from 1992-1997 then left to explore other avenues in the veterinary field. She spent six years in Florida and has been back at Heritage since 2003 as the Practice Manager. Deb earned the distinction of Certified Veterinary Practice Manager (CVPM) in 2006 by successfully passing the certification exam offered by the Veterinary Hospital Managers Association (VHMA). VHMA's certification program measures the knowledge and experience necessary to successfully manage the ever-changing business environment of today's veterinary practices. Deb serves as the Secretary of the Minnesota Veterinary Practice Manager Network and is the Vice Pres. of the St. Charles Parent Teacher Organization. Deb also sits on two Program Advisory Commitees at the Minnesota School of Business here in Rochester. One for Veterinary Technology and also for Career Services.
Deb shares her home with her husband and their three boys. Other family members include two dogs, Cider and Opie, and three cats, Muddy, Gidget and Gertie. Deb likes to read, spend time with family and she also enjoys her petsitting hobby.

Kathy, Certified Veterinary Technician
Kathy graduated from the University of Minnesota, Waseca with an A.A.S. degree in Veterinary Technology in 1988. She is certified in the state of Minnesota and joined the Heritage Pet Hospital team in September of 1988. Her favorite things about coming to work every day are being part of a dedicated team of people, being able to utilize all of her Tech skills while being appreciated, and the camaraderie with the clients. Kathy's interests include mentoring and teaching the Vet Tech interns from both local programs, surgery and critical care, as well as managing the diabetic patients for our practice. She has also sat on the Advisory Board for the Veterinary Technology Program at RCTC since 2004, and hopes to one day teach this rewarding career. She shares her home with her daughter Lauren, three cats, Mish, Sam-Sam and Boze, and one parakeet named Bird. Her outside hobbies include camping, volleyball, reading,and home improvements.

Maria, Certified Veterinary Technician
Maria joined the Heritage team in the spring of 2006. She obtained her AAS degree and certification at the University of Duluth Business school. Maria enjoys every aspect of her job which includes dentistry and surgery. She shares her home with a dog, Ollie, and her cockatiel, Gracie.

Amy, Certified Veterinary Technician
Amy graduated from the Medical Institute of MN in 1995 with an Associate in Applied Science degree. She has worked in the Veterinary field for 15 years, and has been with Heritage Pet Hospital since October of 2007. Her favorite thing about coming to work every day is being part of a close knit team, and the satisfaction of working with our clients and helping heal. Amy's special interests include dentistry and radiology. In her spare time Amy enjoys pool league, camping, fishing, hiking, dog-sitting and participating in the VFW Auxillary. She shares her home with her husband, Dave, her dogs Morgan (a Lab/German Shorthair cross), Bailey (a Lab/Husky cross), Lizzy (an Australian Cattle dog), and a long haired orange tabby cat named Jack. Amy hopes to someday buy a hobby farm in the country and be able to expand her dog-sitting hobby.

Erin graduated from Rochester Community and Technical College in May 2010 with an Associate in Applied Science degree in Veterinary Technology. She joined Heritage Pet Hospital in July 2010. In Erin's free time, she enjoys fishing, canoeing, gardening and baking. She lives in Pine Island, MN with her husband, Cody and her pets/children. Erin's children include her black lab named Harley and her rat terrier name Tobey. Erin says she loves being part of a team and making a difference in animal's lives.

Her hobbies are hiking, rollerblading, painting and camping. She shares her home with her cat Hank, Missy, her ball-crazy black lab, Bailey, a German Shorthair Pointer and Marley, a spunky Cavachon. She is also a proud Mom to her son, Wyatt. Jessica hopes to someday specialize in animal behavior and become a dog trainer.

Jeanne, Technical Supervisor, Head Receptionist
Jeanne loves being able to help others care for their pets, and each night she has a wonderful story to bring home to her family. She lives with her husband, Ed and their three cats, Escher (best boy), Stella (baby girl) and Pushkin (the great & mighty). Jeanne and Ed also have a grown daughter, Katie, who lives with her family in Northern MN. In her spare time, Jeanne enjoys reading, watching movies, gardening, and dining out. Jeanne and Ed enjoy spending time with their grandchildren Martin and Maria. Next time you're in, ask Jeanne to see pictures of them! (She's sure to have some stashed in her desk)

Barb has been a veterinary receptionist for eleven years and came to Heritage Pet Hospital in June of 2002. Barb shares her home with her four year old laborador, Nikki (the love of her life) and four birds; Barney, Dewey and Joey, her cockatiels, and Wally, an umbrella cockatoo. She enjoys boating, camping and cooking in her spare time.
