Blair, Veterinary Assistant
Blair has completed four years of her undergraduate degree in Pre-Veterinary Medicine. She hopes to attend vet school in the fall of 2014 in pursuit of her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine. In 2008, Blair took a leave of absence from school to join the U.S. Army (Reserve), and is in the Military Police Corps. Her time in the Army has brought her to places all over the United States and world. Blair became a veteran of Operation Enduring Freedom after a year long deployment to Afghanistan in 2011, and she is still in the Army. Blair's major passion is animals (especially her Long-haired Chihuahua, Trejo), human cultural awareness (she speaks Russian, French, Spanish, and Dari), and marine biology. In Blair's spare time, she enjoys traveling, working out, fishing, shooting at the firing range, camping, and many other activities. Blair was thrilled to join the Heritage Pet Hospital family in April, 2013. She loves having the opportunity to overcome any challenge that may be thrown her way, watching surgeries and the in-depth information that diagnostic lab procedures can give in what may otherwise seem to be a vague situation.
